"my dagat sa taas?"

"meron. bakit?"

i heard some wise idiot mocking me so i gave a quick reply while looking straight at his eyes. i stared at him until the elevator doors opened. he clearly avoided eye contact.

and as i was approaching my office desk,

"dala mo na naman ang pamalo mo..."

the first time i heard someone referred the dragonboat oar i was holding as "pamalo" was when i bought a drink at 7-11. i found it so much irritating then.

obviously, pikon ako.

when tolerance is at minimum, i pray i will always just smile and keep in my thoughts the devil who wanted to say

"kala mo nakakatawa? hampasin kaya kita?"

o kaya

"isa pa, sasaksakin na kita."

o

"gusto mong durugin ko bayag mo?"

  2. take pride in being a dragonboat paddler. i do get those kind of remarks and stares from everyone else, pero dedma lang. hindi nila kaya ang ginagawa natin, bah ;)

ngayon sumisikat na ang dragonboat. we conducted a dragonboat orientation/race for PLDT manager's team building last friday, headed by the PDBF. panalo, lahat sila maganda impression sa mga paddlers tulad natin...time will come ganun na rin ang magiging tingin ng publiko sa atin =)
